It may be a bit complicated for those not into rugby, but the word rugby can actually designate different sports, espacially in Australia.
There are different rugby codes. Let’s make it simple:
- The Rugby World Cup has teams of 15 players (Rugby Union)
- the AFL is the Australien Football League ("Aussie Rules")
- the NRL is the National Rugby League (teams of 13 rugby players).
The sexiest hunks from both AFL and NRL have come together to create a calendar of their own, called "Naked for a Cause". In about 30 pictures, the players show a lot (but not as much as Les Dieux du Stade).
The proceeds go to a charity against breat cancer.
