The Dieux du Stade calendar was a key element in a movie called "Fort comme un homme" (Strong as a man) broadcatsed by Franco-German TV channel ARTE. The pics from the fake calendar are quite good, but the story was weak.

In this movie, a young rugby player discovers fame when he becomes the cover boy for a popular calendar - we know what calendar the movie is talking about.

But then, fame overcomes the poor lad and everything falls part: he hurts his leg, the woman he loves was really playing with him, his roommate - another rugby player  - comes out to him, his mother does not love him …. bad scenario, but great pics of the fake Dieux du Stade calendar that was made up for the movie.

Oh yes, this being France, it was of course shown on state TV at 8:40pm. We just do not want shool kids on male frontal nudity, do you?
